4th Annual “Raising the B.A.R.” Bruce A. Rendina Memorial Golf Tournament
More than $120,000 was raised from the highly successful Fourth Annual Rendina Family Foundation “Raising the B.A.R.” Bruce A. Rendina Memorial Golf Tournament. The event was held on Friday, April 16 and Saturday, April 17, 2010 at The Breakers in Palm Beach Florida.
Friday evening’s Steadman Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas Welcome Reception kicked off the event as the more than 135 guests enjoyed cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, live entertainment, a raffle and live auction. Eighty eight golfers hit the links Saturday morning after a light breakfast. The weather was warm and sunny as the golfers completed their rounds and headed in for lunch and awards. Winners of the Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin contests were also announced.

Proceeds from the Fourth Annual Rendina Family Foundation “Raising the B.A.R.” Bruce A. Rendina Memorial Golf Tournament will help the Foundation support its mission. The Rendina Family Foundation strives to enhance the quality of life for families and individuals who have been affected by cancer. The Foundation endeavors to accomplish this through the funding of organizations, hospitals and biotechnology companies that excel in researching and developing cures for cancer. In addition, the Foundation supports efforts to increase the general welfare of the communities in which it is actively involved.
