The Rendina Family Foundation participated in the Florida Brain Cancer WalkBrain Cencer Walk

More than 500 runners and walkers joined forces on Saturday, March 27, 2010 in the First Annual Florida Brain Cancer Walk, and together raised more than $100,000 to benefit Florida-based brain cancer research projects and collaborations through Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure.

The funds raised will be directed to Florida-based brain cancer research projects and collaborations at institutions such as: The McKnight Brain Cancer Institute of University of Florida, The Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute and Scripps Florida, The Scripps Research Institute.

Top sponsors and teams included Rendina Companies, Genentech BioOncology, The Case Foundation and Palm Beach Yacht Brokerage & Friends.

The Rendina Family Foundation Served as Honorary Chairs for the American Cancer Society Gala in Jupiter

The Rendina Family Foundation served as the Honorary Chairs for the 2010 North Palm Beach County Unit of the American Cancer Society’s Celestial Gala.  The event raised more than $340,000.  Michael Rendina is on the Board of the North Palm Beach County Unit of the American Cancer Society and the Rendina Family Foundation has been a proud supporter of the organization for many years.

Saks Fifth Avenue in the Gardens Mall partners with the Rendina Family Foundation for its Brushes with Greatness Event

Saks Fifth Avenue in the Gardens Mall in Palm Beach Gardens partnered with the Rendina Family Foundation for its annual Brushes with Greatness Event.  Guests received a special badge that gave them access to a private reception area and discounts through out the store.  In addition, a percentage of sales from the event went back to the Rendina Family Foundation.  This event featured nationally renown make up artists from all of the top brands sold at Saks.

The one hundred is an evening honoring those individual and groups who exemplify the mission of the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center – those people whose diligence and discoveries, philanthropy and passion have positioned the Center Center as the best investment in the fight against cancer. In addition, members of the one hundred will be featured in a limited-edition tribute book, which will include excerpts and photographs from each honoree.
